Wake County, NC – Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Old Stage Road

Wake County, NC (July 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Wake County on Friday evening. The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. on Old State Road near Shell Cracker Drive.

Police say that a male pedestrian was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a car. The man suffered critical injuries and died at the crash scene. His identity has not been released at this time. There were no other injuries reported. There is no word on whether the driver remained at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing at this time and there is no further information available.
