Pleasant Hill, NC – Three Men Killed in NC 48 Car Accident

Pleasant Hill, NC (July 13, 2020) – Three men were killed in a car accident that took place in Northampton County on Sunday, July 12th. The crash was reported around 8:00 a.m. on NC 48 in Pleasant Hill.

When rescue crews arrived, they discovered a fire in the woods. Upon further investigation, crews found a sedan that was fully engulfed in flames. The sedan had been involved in a crash and was split in two. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire but found three deceased victims nearby that had been ejected from the vehicle in the crash. The victims’ identities have not been released at this time and there is no word on what caused the crash to occur.

The State Highway Patrol is investigating.
