Winston-Salem, NC – Two Hurt in Garbage Truck Rollover Crash

Winston-Salem, NC (June 18, 2020) – Two people were hurt in a rollover crash involving a garbage truck in Winston-Salem on Thursday. The crash happened around 12:00 p.m. in the 5200 block of Country Club Road.

The Winston-Salem Fire Department along with police responded to the crash scene. There were two occupants of the truck when it rolled over. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur. The two people inside the truck were taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The road was down to one lane in the area where the accident took place and motorists were urged to find alternate routes of travel.
