Salisbury, NC – Kevin Love, Jr. Killed in Two-Car Crash on South Main Street

Salisbury, NC (June 18, 2020) – A two-car crash in Salisbury claimed the life of a man on Tuesday, June 15th. The crash took place in the 2900 block of South Main Street.

The Salisbury Police Department reports that 26-year-old Kevin Love, Jr. was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima in the northbound lanes of South Main when he was in a collision with a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado driven by 19-year-old Ethan Newcomb. Rescue workers arrived on the scene shortly after the crash took place and administered first aid to Love. Their efforts were unsuccessful, however, as Love died at the crash scene. There is no word on whether Newcomb or anyone else was injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the SPD. There is no additional information available.
