Winston-Salem, NC (December 7, 2020) – A woman was hurt after being hit by a car in Winston-Salem on Thursday, December 3rd. The crash happened in the 5000 block of Country Club Road around 8:15 p.m.
According to a report from the Winston-Salem Police Department, the 22-year-old woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a 2004 Lexus ES330 in the westbound lanes of the roadway. The woman, who has not been identified at this time, was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the accident. No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time. There is no further information available.
