Winston-Salem, NC – Lydia Wainwright Hurt in Crash on Oak Grove Church Rd.

Winston-Salem, NC (February 23, 2021) – Police in Winston-Salem responded to a two-car crash that happened on Monday, February 22nd. The crash took place on Oak Grove Church Road near the area of Union Cross Road at approximately 4:50 p.m.

According to a report from the WSPD, Timothy Shane Bullins, of Walnut Cove, was traveling eastbound on Oak Grove Church Road when traffic slowed in front of him. Bullins failed to slow down and collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Christopher Robert Clingenpeel of Annapolis, MD. Clingenpeel’s passenger, Lydia Wainwright, also of Annapolis, sustained undisclosed injuries in the crash. Jackson was taken to Forsyth Hospital for treatment. Following an investigation, police charged Bullins with failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
