Car Accidents in North Carolina  Wagram, NC - One Killed, Trooper Hurt in Crash on N.C. 401

Car accidents take place in North Carolina each day, multiple times per day. A significant percentage of North Carolina car accidents will lead to injuries for the victims involved. Many of these victims will require hospitalization for treatment of their injuries and will have to undergo extensive medical procedures including surgery, physical therapy, and other types of rehabilitation. The recovery period following a crash can be quite lengthy and can become stressful for crash victims and their families as they struggle to provide for themselves during this time.

Although a North Carolina car accident can certainly be a devastating event, it does not have to define your life forever. If you were not at fault in the crash, it is important to be aware of your legal rights in this situation. Under North Carolina law, negligent drivers can be held responsible for their actions that directly impact third parties. For instance, if you were hurt in a crash that was someone else’s fault, you have a legal claim to recovery. Your recovery could include payments for pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and potentially more. Knowing what you are entitled to can be difficult to figure out, especially if you do not have experience handling these types of cases.
