North Carolina Car Accidents  Rocky Point, NC - One Seriously Hurt in Car Accident on I-40

Thousands of victims are hurt in North Carolina car accidents every year. In a recent year, more than 100,000 crashes took place across our state. Not all of these accidents resulted in injuries but many of them did. An overwhelming majority of collisions take place because of the negligence of one or more drivers. A negligent driver is one who fails to obey the rules of the road. They may drive while distracted, and commit traffic violations like speeding, texting while driving, failing to yield the right of way, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. These drivers have little regard for the health and safety of those around them.

When you or a loved one have suffered injuries because of someone else’s carelessness, you should have a full understanding of your legal rights. Victims sometimes make the mistake of not contacting an attorney after a car accident. As a result, they end up settling their injury claim for far less than what it is worth. This is a mistake that can cost thousands of dollars and can jeopardize your future. Following a crash, you should start by speaking with an experienced attorney who can advise you on the proper steps to take to secure your rights.
