Raleigh, NC – One Dead, Two Hurt in Crash on N.C. 98

Raleigh, NC (April 10, 2021) – One person is dead and two others injured following a head-on crash in Raleigh on Wednesday, April 7th. The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on North Carolina Highway 98 near the intersection with Six Forks Road.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling on U.S. 98 when the driver traveled left of center and collided head-on with a U-Haul. The driver of the U-Haul suffered critical injuries and died at the accident scene. The truck driver was seriously injured and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A baby who was a passenger in the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The identities of those involved in the crash have not been released at this time. There is no word on what caused the collisions to occur.
