Harnett County, NC – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Reported on Jim Christian Road

Harnett County, NC (July 7, 2020) – Police and rescue crews responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash in Harnett County on Tuesday. The crash was reported on Jim Christian Road near US Highway 421.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reports that an unidentified pedestrian was walking along the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by authorities. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released at this time and there is no information on the vehicle involved in the crash.
