Charlotte, NC – Teen Killed in Car Accident on Sardis Road

Charlotte, NC (July 14, 2020) – A teenager was killed in a crash that took place on Sunday, July 12th in Charlotte. The accident took place just before midnight on Sardis Road near Ritter Drive.

According to a report, a 15-year-old girl was driving an SUV when the car ran off the road and crashed into a power pole. A teenage passenger inside the vehicle died as a result of the accident. Another passenger suffered undisclosed injuries.

Police believe that speed played a role in the crash. All three occupants inside the SUV were under the age of 18. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
