Charlotte, NC (August 18, 2020) – Police responded to a fatal accident along Interstate 85 in Charlotte on Sunday, August 16th. The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway near Concord Mills Mall.
Police and rescue workers responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call regarding a serious accident in the area. When crews arrived, they discovered two people suffering from severe injuries as a result of the crash. Later, authorities confirmed that one person was killed and the other was hospitalized in serious condition.
