Raleigh, NC – Man Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Saddle Seat Drive

Raleigh, NC (May 28, 2020) – A man suffered serious injuries in a Raleigh pedestrian crash on Monday, May 25th. The crash occurred just after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Saddle Seat Drive and Bridge Path Drive.

According to police, a pedestrian was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle. Officials say that the driver, Cecilio Hernandez Cedillo, took no action to avoid striking the pedestrian. Rescue workers transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The Raleigh Police Department later charged Cedillo with failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision. No further information is available.
