Statesville, NC – Injuries Reported in Tractor-Trailer Crash on I-40 West

Statesville, NC (July 30, 2020) – Officials were on the scene of an injury accident in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Statesville on Thursday, July 30th. The crash happened around 9:00 a.m. near Mile Marker 158.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after the crash took place. When troopers arrived, they discovered that the crash involved a tractor-trailer. At least one person was injured in the accident. There is no word on the condition of the victim at this time.
