Raleigh, NC (June 19, 2021) – Police in Raleigh were at the scene of a deadly crash on Thursday, June 17th. The collision took place around 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 440 near U.S. 264.
According to reports, a male driver was killed in the collision. A female driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. At this time, the identities of the victims have not been revealed. Police have not provided any details on the events that led up to the crash and there is no information on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No additional injuries were reported.
The crash caused I-440 to be closed for several hours while an investigation took place. No further information has been released at this time.
