Robeson County, NC – Injury Crash on I-95 Involving Car and Tractor-Trailer

Robeson County, NC (June 19, 2021) – Police in Robeson County responded to the scene of a serious accident on Friday afternoon. The crash happened around 1:00 p.m. near Mile Marker 2 and Highway 130.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol arrived at the scene shortly after the crash took place. According to troopers, the accident involved two tractor-trailers and a car. One of the trucks caught on fire following the crash. There were reported injuries but the nature and extent of the injuries is not clear at this time. There is no word on the conditions of the injured victims and the cause of the accident has not been released.

Major delays were reported at the crash scene as motorists were seen turning around to avoid the area. Police have not said whether any charges are expected.
