Raleigh, NC (July 15, 2020) – Police were called to the scene of a fatal crash in Raleigh on Wednesday, July 15th. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-40 near the I-440 interchange.
A black SUV with heavy damage was visible at the scene. Police have not said how many total vehicles were involved in the accident. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time and the identity of the deceased victim has not been released.
Traffic was backed up at the scene and motorists were urged to find alternate routes. No additional information is available at this time.
