Durham, NC – Donna Michele Hunter Killed in Junction Rd Pedestrian Crash

Durham, NC (July 15, 2020) – The Durham Police Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian on Wednesday. The crash took place around 8:30 a.m. on Junction Road.

According to officials, 56-year-old Donna Michele Hunter was walking near a bus stop when she was hit by a Ford F-250 that was traveling southbound on Junction. The truck was towing a trailer at the time of the crash. Rescue workers arrived on the scene but later pronounced Hunter dead as a result of her injuries. No one else was hurt in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. There is no word on whether charges are expected.
