Raleigh, NC (April 12, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a crash that took place in Raleigh on Sunday evening. The accident was first reported around 6:00 p.m. along New Bern Avenue near the intersection with South King Charles Road.
The Raleigh Police Department responded to the scene. According to officers, a motorcycle collided with an SUV. The motorcyclist, who was not identified by officers, was killed in the crash. There is no word on how the accident took place at this time. The motorcycle rider was not identified following the collision. The SUV driver was not injured.
Police are still investigating that incident. There is no word at this time on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
