Raleigh, NC- Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash on Sanderford Rd

Raleigh, NC (July 25, 2020) – A man was taken to a hospital following a motorcycle crash in Raleigh on Saturday, July 25th. The crash was reported just after 12:00 p.m. at the intersection of Sanderford Road and Creech Road.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the crash took place. According to officers, a man was riding a motorcycle near the intersection and collided with a motor vehicle.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. He was rushed by ambulance to WakeMed. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released. There is no information on whether anyone else was hurt in the crash. The road was closed in both directions as officials worked at the crash scene.

Police have not said whether any charges are expected to be filed as a result of the crash. There is no further information available at this time.
