Raleigh, NC (September 23, 2022) – Police in Raleigh were at the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash on Friday, September 23rd. The accident happened on Capital Boulevard near the intersection with Yonkers Road.
According to a report from the Raleigh Police Department, a 37-year-old man, later identified as Ricky Maybry, was walking on Capital Boulevard when he was hit by a Range Rover. Maybry suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced at the crash scene. The driver of the Range Rover was not injured in the accident and remained at the scene of the crash. Their identity has not been released at this time.
