Lumberton, NC – Two Hospitalized After Car Accident on Starlite Dr.

Lumberton, NC (August 29, 2020) – Two people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Starlite Drive in Lumberton. The crash was reported around 6:10 a.m on Friday, August 28th.

According to Trooper D.B. Strickland of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Kenneth Worley of Lumberton was operating a Chevrolet S10 westbound on Starlite when his truck collided with the rear-end of a Ford Mustang driven by Adrian Blanks of Rowland. Both Worley and Blanks were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Troopers are still investigating the accident at this time and are looking into whether Blanks had his lights on at the time of the collision. The area was reportedly not well-lit at the time the collision occurred. There have been no charges filed at this time.
