Robeson County, NC – Kimberly Locklear Killed in Truck Crash on Union School Rd.

Robeson County, NC (August 28, 2020) – A 47-year-old woman died after her car was struck by an 18 wheeler in Robeson County. The crash happened on Friday, August 28th on Union School Road near Dew Road.

According to Sgt. S.B. Lewis of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Kimberly Locklear was traveling on Union School Road when she was hit by the semi-truck. There is no word at this time on exactly how the accident took place. Locklear suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The truck driver, who has not been identified, sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He has not been identified at this time.

Troopers continue to investigate the accident and its cause. There is no further information available at this time.
