Kernersville, NC – Driver Hurt in Box Truck Crash on Highway 66

Kernersville, NC (November 26, 2020) – A driver was hospitalized following a crash with a box truck in Kernersville on Wednesday, November 25th. The crash occurred in the 1100 block of Highway 66.

Officers with the Kernersville Police Department responded to the crash scene shortly after the accident occurred. According to a report, an SUV and a box truck collided head-on with one another. The driver of the SUV sustained serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. He was taken to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem to be treated. The driver of the box truck received treatment at the scene but was not transported. Neither of the drivers has been identified at this time and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
