Gaston County, NC – Two Killed in Thanksgiving Day Crash on US 321

Gaston County, NC (November 27, 2020) – Two people lost their lives in a tragic crash on Thanksgiving Day in Gaston County. The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. along Highway 321 near Hardin Road.

According to a report, the crash involved a single vehicle. Police believe that wet roadway conditions caused the driver to lose control and veer off the road where it struck a tree. Both occupants inside the vehicle were killed in the crash. The vehicle’s back tires may have also contributed to the accident, according to investigators. Neither of the victims has been identified by authorities.

There is no further information available. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
