Car Accidents in North Carolina.  Guilford County, NC - Multiple Injuries in Sunday Car Accident on I-40

North Carolina’s roadways can be a dangerous place for motorists. Unfortunately, our state sees nearly 300,000 reported crashes each year. A substantial number of these accidents occur on major highways such as Interstate 40. Highways are notorious for serious accidents given the higher speed limits, greater traffic congestion, and a high prevalence of negligent drivers. Often, car accidents in North Carolina take place so suddenly that there is no time for drivers to react and avoid the crash.

When you have been involved in a North Carolina car accident, you may feel like your world has come crashing down. You may have suffered serious injuries, including broken bones and trauma. During this time, all aspects of your life can be affected, including your ability to work and earn a living for yourself and your family. You may wonder if you will ever be able to enjoy all of the activities that you once enjoyed before the crash happened.

Fortunately, there is help available. North Carolina law provides for victims to recover certain damages when they have been injured by someone else’s negligence. This includes payment for lost wages, pain and suffering, medical bills, and possibly punitive damages. The value of your case can be determined by a skilled and knowledgeable North Carolina car accident attorney.
