Johnston County, NC – Tebria Frazier Killed in Crash on Vinson Road

Johnston County, NC (June 29, 2021) – An 18-year-old woman is dead after being run over by a vehicle in Clayton on Monday, June 28th. The crash took place in the 300 block of Vinson Road just before 2:30 p.m.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Tebria Frazier was riding on top of a white SUV when she was thrown off of the vehicle. She was then run over by the SUV while lying in the roadway. Frazier was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The driver of the SUV has not been identified by authorities at this time. There were no other injuries reported and no additional vehicles involved in the crash. Motorists in the area were advised to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.

Police are investigating the accident. There is no word on whether any criminal charges are expected to be filed. No further information has been released.
