Greenville, NC (March 11, 2022) – Authorities in Greenville responded to the scene of a four-vehicle crash on Friday, March 11th. The accident took place around 4:25 p.m. on South Memorial Drive near the intersection with Fairlane Road.
According to police, the accident sent two people to the hospital. A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries. The crash occurred when a southbound vehicle clipped another car in the southbound lanes. The first vehicle then veered into the northbound lanes where it collided head-on with two other vehicles. Authorities say that the driver of the first vehicle was driving erratically at the time of the crash. None of the victims have been identified at this time.
The accident remains under investigation. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed in connection with the crash.
