Greensboro, NC – Three Hurt when Drunk Driver Crashes into Building

Greensboro, NC (October 14, 2020) – Three people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle crashed into a building in Greensboro this morning. The crash took place at 2110 W. Gate City Boulevard.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, 24-year-old Kala Parrish of Graham was driving a 2013 Toyota Avalon westbound on Gate City. Parrish’s car ran off the road to the right and collided with a building. Parrish and her two passengers, 28-year-old Shaneka Holly, and 22-year-old Dazia Richmond were all taken to a local hospital for treatment. Two of the victims suffered serious injuries and the third sustained life-threatening injuries.

Following an investigation, officers charged Parrish with driving while impaired. Speeding was also believed to be a factor in the crash.
