Durham, NC (July 12, 2020) – The Durham Police Department is investigating after a fatal car accident on Saturday morning. The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. in the 4300 block of South Miami Boulevard near the intersection with East Cornwallis Road.
According to initial reports, a Chevrolet sedan and a pickup truck were involved in the accident. At this time, it is not clear which car caused the accident to occur. At least one person died from injuries sustained in the crash. There is no word on whether anyone else was hurt in the accident.
The road was closed as police and rescue workers were at the scene. No additional details are available at this time.
