Davie County, NC (June 10, 2020) – A crash involving multiple vehicles was reported in Davie County on Wednesday. The crash took place around 2:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40.
According to authorities, a total of five vehicles collided with one another, including two tractor-trailers. The crash happened near Bermuda Run along the Davie and Forsyth County line. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur at this time. Multiple injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Although there is no word on the conditions of the victims, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash caused delays for motorists and partially blocked the eastbound lanes of the highway. An investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
