Fatal Accidents in North Carolina  Davie County, NC - Brent Gary Marshall Killed in U.S. 64 Hit-and-Run

According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there were more than 280,000 crashes that took place on our roadways. Approximately 1,400 people were killed in these crashes. Smaller vehicles such as mopeds and motorcycles accounted for a substantial number of these fatalities. A moped can be a very dangerous mode of transportation as it does not offer the same level of protection as a car or other more traditional vehicle. Moped riders are frequently ejected from the moped following a crash which can add to the possibility of serious injuries and even death.
