Serious and fatal car accidents take place across North Carolina every day. A catastrophic car accident in North Carolina can take place in a matter of seconds. These accidents can change the lives of those involved, and their families’ lives, forever. Sadly, there were more than 80,000 injuries and over 3,000 fatalities reported in crashes that took place in our state in 2019. Many of these victims were killed or injured due to the actions of other motorists who were driving in a careless and reckless manner at the time of the accident. Head-on crashes are some of the most dangerous and destructive types of accidents that we see on a daily basis across the state.

After a car accident takes place, those affected often wonder about their legal rights. As the medical bills begin to pile up, it is common to wonder if there is any type of relief available. For crash victims who were not at fault, North Carolina law does provide a remedy. Under our state’s personal injury laws, car accident victims may be entitled to compensation for their pain and suffering, medical bills, lost wages, and potentially more.
