A fatal car accident in North Carolina is a life-changing event for family members who are left behind following the crash. Certainly, no one ever expects that their loved one will be suddenly killed in a crash. Sadly, these accidents can and do occur nearly every day in our state. In 2018, there were more than 280,000 reported car accidents in North Carolina and just over 1,400 fatalities as a result.

A fatal crash must be carefully investigated by authorities to determine the cause. Many fatal car accidents in our state are caused by drivers who are impaired or distracted.
