North Carolina Car Accidents  Asheboro, NC - Three Hurt when Jeep Runs Stop Sign on Cox Mill Rd.

No one ever gets into a vehicle expecting that they will be involved in a crash. Each day, we go about our daily routine and may end up traveling a considerable distance over many different types of roadways, including highways, city streets, and residential areas. We often do so without thinking of the dangers that come with operating or riding in a motor vehicle. In 2019, there were nearly 300,000 reported car accidents in North Carolina, with approximately 80,000 reported injuries as a result. The cause of these crashes ranged from impaired drivers to distracted and negligent drivers, including drivers who fail to follow basic traffic laws. Negligent drivers are responsible for more than 85% of all traffic accidents as innocent victims often find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If you or a loved one have been involved in a car accident in North Carolina, you should have a thorough understanding of your legal rights. Under our state’s law, you should not be held responsible if you were hurt in a crash that was truly not your fault. If this is the case,  you could be entitled to recovery for your damages, including your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and possibly more. A car accident can be devastating but the aftermath does not have to be.
