Winston-Salem, NC (October 19, 2020) – An officer with the Winston-Salem Police Department was involved in a crash that took place on Monday morning. The accident happened at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and 12th Street.
According to a report from the scene, the crash involved the police car and at least one other vehicle. The accident took place at the intersection and the officer was on-duty at the time. Both the officer and the driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the crash. There is no information on the condition of the victims at this time.
