Winston-Salem, NC – Jonathan Wooten Hurt in Thomasville Rd. Car Accident

Winston-Salem, NC (May 19, 2021) – A man from Winston-Salem was injured in a two-car crash that took place on Monday, May 17th. The accident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Thomasville Road at the intersection with Baden Road.

According to a report from Officer J.M. Estela, Jr., Travis McGill, of Winston-Salem, was driving a 2014 Chrysler when he came to the intersection of Baden and Thomasville Road. McGill failed to yield at the stop sign and entered the intersection where he collided with a 1997 Chevrolet driven by Jonathan Wooten, also of Winston-Salem. Wooten suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash and was transported by ambulance to Forsyth Hospital. McGill was not injured. There were no other vehicles involved.

It is not clear whether any charges are expected to be filed as a result of the crash. Police are still investigating at this time.
