Wilkes County, NC – Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash on U.S. 421

Wilkes County, NC (October 10, 2020) – Police responded to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian in Wilkes County on Saturday, October 10th. The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. 431 near North Carolina Highway 16.

According to police, a pedestrian was walking in or near the northbound lanes of U.S. 421 when they were struck by a car that was traveling on the highway.
