Raleigh, NC (March 7, 2021) – A Raleigh police officer was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Saturday night. The incident was reported around 8:35 p.m. on New Bern Avenue near the intersection with New Hope Road.
According to a report from the scene, the Raleigh police car sustained heavy front-end damage. Two people were reportedly injured in the crash and several emergency vehicles were on site and were seen at the intersection. The two injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time. There is no word on what caused the collision to occur. The identities of the victims have not been released.
