High Point, NC – One Killed in Car Accident at Highway 68 and Regency Dr.

High Point, NC (June 28, 2020) – One person was killed following a two-car crash in High Point on Saturday. The crash happened around 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 68 and Regency Drive.

According to initial reports, a silver vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 68 near the intersection with Regency. At the same time, a second vehicle was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Regency traveling the opposite direction. The two cars collided as the silver vehicle traveled through the intersection. The silver vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a culvert and light pole before coming to rest.

One person was killed as a result of the crash while another received minor injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time. An investigation into the accident is ongoing and no further details are available.
