Fatal Car Accidents in North Carolina  Fayetteville, NC - Two Killed in Head-On Crash on Gillespie Street

There is nothing more devastating and heartbreaking than the sudden loss of a loved one in a North Carolina car accident. According to statistics from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, 1,472 people lost their lives in crashes across our state in 2018. This number has remained relatively steady over the past several years, although the number of traffic accidents has recently increased. Many victims of fatal car accidents are killed when they are involved in a crash with a negligent driver and they will needlessly lose their lives due to the careless actions of another person.

Under North Carolina law, the victim’s next-of-kin or personal representative can seek legal recourse when a family member has been killed in a crash. If you have lost a loved one in a North Carolina car accident, you could be entitled to file a wrongful death claim against the other party.
