Duplin County, NC (July 7, 2020) – A trooper with the State Highway Patrol and another motorist were injured in a car accident on Tuesday in Duplin County. The crash was reported in the westbound lanes of I-40 near Rose Hill.

According to reports, both the trooper and the other driver were transported to a local hospital for treatment following the crash. There is no word on the extent of the injuries for either driver at this time. No information was given on the cause of the crash and neither the trooper nor the other driver was identified.
