Fatal Car Accidents in North Carolina  China Grove, NC - One Killed in Sunday Crash on Interstate 85

Interstates and major highways are a frequent location for car accidents in North Carolina. Each day, thousands of motorists travel throughout our state on these roadways. Highway driving can be especially dangerous given the higher speed limits, greater traffic volume, congestion, and concentration of negligent drivers. Even a single mistake made at a high speed can quickly turn into a crash involving many vehicles and resulting in catastrophic consequences.

If you or a loved one have been affected by a North Carolina car accident, you need a strong and aggressive attorney who will fight for your legal rights. Depending on how the accident occurred, you could be entitled to valuable legal compensation. If your loved one was killed in the crash, it may be possible to file a wrongful death action against the other driver. Under North Carolina, a wrongful death lawsuit must be filed by the victim’s legal representative within two years of the date of death. Wrongful death claims seek compensation for a variety of losses including funeral and medical bills, lost wages, loss of consortium, and more.

Taking legal action can be a complicated and time-consuming process. Having an attorney by your side can allow you to focus on the important aspects of your healing and recovery while your attorney worries about the legal details of your claim.
