If you or a loved one have been hurt in a crash, you should take steps to protect your legal rights as soon as possible. You may receive calls from the insurance company wanting you to quickly settle your case for a small amount of money. It is often not in your best interest to settle at this stage. The insurance adjuster is interested in making a profit for the company and their settlement offer likely does not compensate you for important things such as the cost of any future medical treatment. In this situation, it is important to contact an experienced North Carolina car accident attorney. You should not attempt to negotiate with the insurance company or sign off on a settlement before receiving trusted legal advice and the benefit of legal counsel.
