Burlington, NC – Stormy Lundy Killed in South Church St. Bicycle Crash

Burlington, NC (June 13, 2021) – A 25-year-old man died following a bicycle crash in Burlington on Saturday. The collision took place around 5:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Church Street.

The Burlington Police Department, along with the Burlington Fire Department and Alamance County EMS responded to the crash scene following a report of the crash. When authorities arrived, they found Storm Lundy lying in the roadway. Garcia was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a 64-year-old woman traveling south on South Church Street. Rescue workers pronounced Lundy dead at the accident scene. The driver, who has not been identified was not hurt in the accident.

The crash caused the road to be closed for several hours while police investigated. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed at this time.
