Hundreds of car accidents happen across North Carolina on a daily basis. These crashes occur in all areas, including busy highways, crowded city streets, and quiet country and neighborhood roads. Almost all crashes have the common denominator of a negligent driver being involved. Negligence includes failing to follow traffic laws, such as speeding, reckless driving, distraction, impairment, and failing to yield at stoplights or stop signs. Each car accident must normally be closely investigated by authorities in order to determine the cause.

If you or a loved one have been hurt in a North Carolina car accident, it is important to hold the at-fault party responsible for their actions. In some cases, this can include filing a claim for personal injuries. These claims must be filed within three years of the accident date. A personal injury action in North Carolina can allow victims to recover for the damages suffered in the accident. This often includes pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and possibly more.
