Car Accidents in North Carolina Winston-Salem, NC - One Killed, Two Hurt in Peters Creek Pkwy. Crash

A North Carolina car accident can be a very tragic and devastating event for those that are affected. Sadly, serious and fatal crashes occur throughout our state each day. These crashes can occur on a busy and crowded highway or on a quiet neighborhood street. The common denominator in most car accidents is the presence of a negligent driver. Drivers who are reckless or do not follow traffic laws can cause major crashes to occur in a matter of seconds and these accidents often involve injuries to innocent drivers and passengers. The aftermath can result in a long road to recovery and extensive medical treatment.

After a car accident in North Carolina, it is important to have a full understanding of your legal rights. Following the crash, it is common to feel anxious and overwhelmed as you may wonder if you will ever be able to regain the life that you had prior to the crash. You may be unable to support yourself or your family if you have to miss work as a result of the accident. Your physical activities can also be limited due to your injuries, decreasing your quality of life.

Fortunately, there is help available. Under North Carolina law, crash victims may be entitled to certain compensation after the accident. If the crash was caused by another driver, you could receive payments for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and potentially more. The compensation that you receive can replace some of the unexpected financial expenses during this difficult time and can help you get back on your feet after a devastating accident.
