Winston-Salem, NC (January 15, 2021) – Police in Winston-Salem responded to a car accident on Rams Drive near Highway 52 on Saturday, January 9th. The crash happened around 10:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the roadway.
The Winston-Salem Police Department and Winston-Salem Fire Department responded to the accident scene. When authorities arrived, they discovered one man suffering from serious injuries due to the accident. The man, who has not been identified at this time, later succumbed to his injuries. There is no word on the events leading up to the collision and it is not clear how many vehicles were involved. The crash caused the roadway to close for several hours as police and investigators worked at the scene. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel.
