High Point, NC – Linda Meachum Injured in Car Accident on Precision Way

High Point, NC (March 13, 2021) – A woman from High Point was among the injured victims of a two-car accident that took place on Wednesday, March 10th. The collision occurred 3:55 p.m. on Samet Drive near the intersection with Precision Way.

The High Point Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to Officer J.B. Hurt, Linda Meachum was traveling westbound on Samet Drive when she approached the Precision Way intersection. As she reached the intersection a car driven by Donte Merritt, of Greensboro, pulled in front of her. The two vehicles collided with each other in the roadway.

Following the accident, Meachum was transported by ambulance to High Point Regional Hospital. There is no word on the extent of her injuries or her condition at this time. Following an investigation, officers charged Merritt with a safe movement violation for his role in the crash.
