Car Accidents in North Carolina
A North Carolina car accident can take place very suddenly and unexpectedly. While no one ever gets behind the wheel of a vehicle thinking that they will be involved in a crash, these accidents take place every day, and innocent motorists can find themselves seriously injured as a result. Each car accident must be carefully investigated to determine which driver was responsible for the accident and which driver should therefore be held legally accountable for their actions. Some common causes of car accidents in North Carolina are speeding, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, texting or distracted driving, and failing to yield to other drivers at stop signs or traffic signals.
If you have been injured in a crash, you may be experiencing feelings of frustration, pain, and sadness. The days and weeks following a crash can be very painful and unsettling for accident victims. Increased medical bills and the inability to perform even simple physical tasks can quickly lead to major issues in your life. As you begin your road to recovery, it is important to remember that you could have valuable legal rights that will help you along the way.
